You're Next SHINee

Sometimes I wonder if Teddy Riley was just kicked out of the US. He really hasn't produced anything relevant there since the early 90s when he worked with Bobby Brown and The Jacksons.

Which makes you wonder why the fuck did he decide to move to Korea? He can't speak the language, he probably isn't being paid as much (though that's just an assumption) and the style of music he produces doesn't sound like damn catchy kpop music.

Although I will admit that RaNia's song Dr. Feel Good was a good song. But it didn't sound like a standard kpop song to me, I thought it was more something you'd hear in America.  He also worked with Jay Park on Demon (which was one of the biggest flops ever I think, didn't Jay apologize for that one?). Now I don't even want to get into the song that was The Boys, the song title on it's own irks me. I really wonder if anyone is safe from Teddy Riley's trollin' at this point in time. 


Seem though it's Shawols turn to get a piece of that hot Teddy Riley action.  It seems the news of him producing a song for SHINee is bringing mixed emotions. Some people are blinded by the mere fact that their girl boy band is going to have a comeback. Others are terrified that SHINees' new track will be too Americanized and flop. And yet there is also the ridiculous fans who have threatened to hunt down Teddy Riley and tie him to a stake if this new song doesn't live up to their expectations. 

All in all, I don't particularly care what happens with SHINee but I do still wonder why he even decided to go to Korea when the UK or Canada are a lot closer and they just so happen to speak english. 
Well guess I'll never know. . .

    i'm excited to see what TEDDY GODLEY does with shinee. The Boys was a bad song, but not every song will be perfect. people keep whining, but i'd rather them experiment with new producers. i mean, how bad can it be? they actually make a music video where they're not dancing in a boxed room???? o the horror!!

    I'm sorry but to me Shinee is one of the most overrated groups out there right now. Some of their shit is really awful. Besides I hate Teddy Riley but he sings better than Shinee and I think that if he gives them "blackstreet" music (because some of it was really good imo) then that will only be an improvement for shinee tbh.

    But as for the man himself, he still makes cash unfortunately because he produces for Lady gaga and bruno mars :/ Too bad because he beat his daughter with a guitar and people like that really don't deserve jack shit imho but whatever.

    Fuck Ted Riley, after his work with SNSD I have no more hope for SM idols. His shit doesn't sound Kpop but still they kept him you know why? SM needed that NA promotion boost so bad (DSP owned their ass in Japan so it got them butthurt) so they got this cheap has-been producer who needed money. Shit, being told off to learn the language by the Japs was embarassing but what about English? Only 2 members are fluent while the rest...ugh. Too bad, SHINee got some good RnB stuff going back then.
