Lee Seung Gi and Yoona confirmed to be dating

It's barely into the first day of 2014, and we already have been treated to big kpop news: An SNSDer has been confirmed to be in a relationship.


Uhh, yeah, is it too late to say spoiler alert?


Word on the street (and by street I mean Soompi) is that Yoona and Lee Seung Gi are dating. According to the website, Yoona's agency, SM Entertainment, has confirmed the news. The idea of the notoriously strict SM acknowledging that a member of its top girl group is in a relationship is pretty exciting.


Public relationships for all!


But seriously, I love news like this. I've always believed idols should be allowed to publicly acknowledge their relationships. I realize this goes contrary to the idea of allowing crazy fans to believe their favorite idol is a pure creature waiting for nothing more than to meet and fall in love with said fan, but tough shit.

You do you, Yoona.

    Out of all the members I wasn't expecting Yoona to be the first to publicly date. I guess it has been out for quite a while that Hyoyeon is dating some american (I think he was american at least) guy just no one kara. I don't even think SM released a statement on that. Anyway good luck on their relationship and stuff, even though from what I understand Sones are shitting all over it. Also so weird that they'd confirm this but not Onew/Jungah. I thought that was harmless enough (I get Sulli/Choiza though since that was borderline pedophilia and 99% sure she was dating him for the diq. 7.8 inches must be the equivalent of like 12 there, given their average is 3.8 inches lol.)

    Somewhere in South Korea... The pillow of a 38 year-old man has been soaked in tears of butthurt. He sharpens his blade with his wrist as his crimson nectar flows into the cup that adorns his Yoona shrine.

    His lips pursed firmly around the edge of the cup as he takes a sip and gags horribly. He then dips his fingers into the blood and wipes them underneath his eyes... The tears mix with the blood as the stench of Cheetos and Bugolgi from his unclean fingernails hits his eyes.

    He kisses the smiling face on the Yoona poster and brandishes his blade one more time, ready to steal into the night and find the man who stole the innocence of his woman.

    "Lee Seung Gi..." he spits the name with the utmost bitterness and contempt for the man's very existence.

    Using various GPS technology he uses to keep an eye out for his woman, he sneaks out of his attic and past his mother's bedroom to make his way out into the world... Vengeance nd Aegyo are the only things left on his mind.

    He is Bloodlust. He is Vengeance. He is Chivalry.

    He. Is. Ahjussi.

    (Or at least, that's how I think the reaction of the average Uncle Fan to this news would go...)

    Honestly why is everyone so shocked that Hyoyeon is dating? She's really not that bad looking? Maybe I only think that because of my shitty self worth, but honestly I can't even seriously call her 'Hyogere' or any of the shit that you guys do because I still think she surpasses me in terms of looks x1000.

      It is nothing to do with your self worth - people are stuck in 2009 when her stylist kept screwing her over.

      Even if people don't find her attractive, she is no where near an ogre. Simple as.
      There guys are fapping over Yura, Jiyeon, etc and I'm like "how are they more attractive than Hyo?" they all look good.

      He careful when putting yourself down on the Internet as well - people will just rip right into you. Even if you don't feel confident - pretend you do. That's my advice.

      I can't be confident IRL or on the internet, with 20+ lbs of weight last year I also felt like I lost 20+ lbs of extra self assurance, worth, happiness.

      Literally, I'm still calling myself fat and ugly even though I'm technically underweight and not terribly unattractive (if not terribly attractive either)

      With it being the internet you don't have to say anything about how you feel about yourself.
      That way you can't be attacked by trolls and bullies. That will reduce any other chances of feeling low about yourself.
