[MV Review] Younha - Run


Flawless. End review...

 
Honestly, the reason why this review has taken so long because it's so hard to review this MV/song. This is one of my favorite songs released this summer by far. It's so good to have the old Younha back...not the Younha who released whateverthefuckthosetwoalbumsshecountsasherthirdalbum.

The MV is just weird. I couldn't find much to laugh about. There's like a giant whale in the beginning, and it looks like it jizzes 37 seconds in. A lot of jizz could come out from a whale penis.

You can see at 2:10 Younha jumping. This is the only other thing that I could make fun of.



Yeah, just go listen to the song and hope Younha doesn't make us wait another two and a half years for her next comeback.

    I wonder how those bozos stuck with their no1kara KARA-styled vivid bubblegum MVs see Younha's comeback video as boring. LIKE if this isn't artistic enough, I wonder what is artistic for them. fuck(x)'s senseless high-vividness eyesores?

    I like her (and Jay Park)'s song Driver off the same album more but either way, her album was amazing. I mean after almost 3 years, I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

    YESSSSS! An actual review this time.

    It's O.K, I guess. I does use unpopularized chords instrumentally and in the voice-directing.
    The structure is weak though, especially the bridges, and while it uses the chords in a fresh manner overall, it relies heavily on the same chords throughout the song. It's forgettable, but it's fun and has good effort put into it.

    It didn't make screwdriver less attractive though.

    You know that equilibrium between Jrock and jpop? Younha fits right in the middle of there with a bit of kpop insterted. And something else which makes me really like this song.
