[MV Review] Andamiro - Hypnotize


Imagine a fangirl masquerading as a maid and then hypnotizing her oppa. Yeah, that's the basic premise for this MV.

The music video shows Andamiro hypnotizing and drugging her oppa and bringing him to bed.





Yes, Andamiro has dirty plans with her oppar. She's fulfilling many a fangirl's dream.

Onto the song itself, it's a European dance track. If you like European dance music, this song will be right up your isle. It's one of the catchiest songs coming from Kpop in a while. The bad thing about it is that it starts to feel repetitive, but since it's only three minutes long, it doesn't get to the point of annoyance.

    The fact that she says hypnotize about 1000 times is annoying. The songs beat is what makes the song. This is something actually different in kpop.

      Yea, because it's UK electronic, and pretty generic at that.

      This wasn't even worth reviewing. Nobody is gonna remember this in 2 months. Nobody is gonna discuss it. Hell, it's not even relevant in discussion against kpop.
      I wonder, what kpop is gonna do, when it runs out of countries, to rip music from...

      Well, yeah, nobody is gonna remember the song because she's new and not from one of the big companies. If she was from SM then people would be loving the song and her.

      I made no comment towards marketability. I only consider the song/MV, not the behind-the-scenes stuff. Not that I disagree with you. That said, everyone should be judged equally. It is unproductive to give people/companies/products a head-start, if they do not deserve it. Andamiro, certainly, does not.

      I think the song is good for kpop standards. However, this type of music isn't the trend right now in kpop, so this song will fly under the radar. There are far worst songs that have come out this year in my opinion. Yeah, I agree with you everyone should be judged equally, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon...

    The hypnotize x 10000 times doesn't bother me that much. I bore though 'I'm wide awake' x a million times in wide awake by Katy Perry, I'm sure I can go through this fine.
    Also, as kpop listeners who dont understand korean, haven't we already desensitized ourselves to lyrics in songs? I know I have.

    The blouse she wears on stage for Music Bank looked God awful, like she was spouting a disease involving huge, swollen puss balls all over her back and shoulders. Not to mention the shirt was a shit, metallic green.
    but I do enjoy the song, very electronic but not annoying.
