Korean Netizens Praise Han Ye Seul, Expect The Apocalypse

No way.

Just no way.

Is this real life? Has Hell frozen over? I ask that in seriousness because it certainly has fucking frozen over where I live.

For the past week, there have been rumors of the Avengers 2 shooting in Korea and for Han Ye Seul to be in it. Now, it has been 2.5 years since Han Ye Seul has been on Korean television, and in the meantime, I have read this and that rumor about what she is supposed to star in, all to no avail so far. However, she recently signed with a new agency and aside from a drama in the first half of 2014, they also want Ye Seul to be in a Hollywood movie, so at least the rumors make sense, despite how groundless they are.

There's this NetizenBuzz article about the Avengers 2 shooting in Korea and looking to have a Korean actress be in the movie.

Just no way. I can't believe some of the comments I'm reading.

8. [+67, -18] I think a pretty actress like Han Ye Seul being known to foreigners as Korean will make me proud... Although she had a scandal, I hope she gets chosen...
9. [+65, -20] Although she's disappointed us, I recommend Han Ye Seul... she's the top in our country in height, weight, and face...
Compliments! Towards Ye Seul! Holy shit, maybe Koreans aren't extremely petty and have the ability to mature...as long as you don't talk about Japan! Still, holy shit!

Maybe they've come to the realization that it has simply been too long since Ye Seul was in anything and they want to fap to her again. I don't know, but whatever it is, I'm shocked.

So flawless. Koreans are finally starting to see the ways of their errors...almost three years late.

    1. Great movie, but I thought she was even better in Miss Gold Digger.

Here's the movie if you haven't seen it.

  2. They also had a bit of self-reflection about their treatment of T-ara lately. I think maybe Kim Jong Un has hired people to cross the border and put something in the water to chill them out so they don't represent such a military threat and it's having a few side-effects.

  5. Well Koreans will love anyone who has a chance of making their country relevant in the western world. And it's not like their going to recommend an idol-actress, imagine how pressed they'd be if Tiffany or Jessica got the role.

  7. I must be really out of it; before this article I didn't know there was even going to be an Avengers 2! But I guessed as much, and if they're going to choose a Korean actress then Han Ye Seul is a better option than most. You really do seem to love that "oppa~" video.

  10. I'm more confused as to how the story of Ultron has anything to do with Korea...

  11. They'd probably say the same for any actors or actresses. However, if it was an idol, shit would hit the fan.

  12. Anything that promotes Korea and the Korean wave is fine by them.

  13. Am I the only one who thinks that they are probably going to portrait them as North Koreans?
