Stupid Things Fangirls Utter 61

This week's photo set comes from Freeman_c14 from my Ask.fm, who sent me a website link.

I have screen shot some of the best "points" the author makes for this post, which is titled: "26 Reasons Kpop is Better than American pop".

Thank you for your submission!

~*~*~

We are clearly already off to a great, unbiased start as her first point involves using a K-idol to "tell you" about how amazing Kpop is.

That is already the shittest "reason" I have ever seen on a list.

But it does not get any better. Oh no; there is no improvement as the numbers increase. So, be forewarned.

Another valid reason. The only reason why someone would NOT enjoy Kpop more than American music is because they have not had enough forced upon them to inevitably shove them into the Hallyu Wave to drown.

That is not necessarily always the best angle. Have you ever heard of Michael Bay?

I actually personally hate it when a "music video" is 10 minutes longer or more. I like the concept of Vines: 6 seconds to tell a story. Time is money! I do not appreciate watching girls walking down dark hallways for almost 6 minutes (well, maybe that's because I don't fap to them though).

Craziest? Probably close to it. Best? No. Never.

Well, I agree with this specific specimen, yeah.

Is this a thing? Is this a concept people really look at and think, "oh yeah that shit right there makes this a number 1 hit!" There is probably a reason that this is not common in most music videos.

Even she recognizes that this point is insanely specific. But sadly she did not recognize that it was kinda weird.

Also, never use the term "swag". "Owls" and "swag" should never be in the same sentence.

(this author is more Big Bang biased than myself...)

 LOL. "Friends".

"Too much" is putting it gently. Fans go bat shit crazy and become hate-filled monsters (and even my description is wording it kindly). It is actually more dangerous for idols to date each other than stay single for their "virgin image".

    4. Don't worry, just asking, take your time

  5. Kpop is very similar to American pop. 2NE1 and Big Bang are the worst selections if you're going to discuss how different and superior Kpop is.

  6. Well, I hated Buzzfeed already.
This just made me hate it even more.

And the writer sounds 14 at most, considering how many times it mentions something/someone from BigBang.

  7. If you wanna introduce kpop get t-ara or OC or some shit, don't scare them with 2ne1, fuck.

    1. I'm sure they would just laugh at OC, while 2NE1 will seem ok.

I personally would also go for a T-ara song, since they're pretty cool.

    2. Old 2NE1 would probably get them into KPop. Just forget anything after their 2nd mini, or they'll just say, "If I wanted to listen to shitty rap with lyrics I can't jam to, I'd listen to Asher Roth".

    3. Tbh even I think old 2ne1 is pretty meh, I never really got into one of their songs. Yeah I'd agree that you should give them the older songs (era around when t-ara debuted I think), good songs are so rare now, while shitty songs like hyuna's newest song keeps getting pumped out

    4. I don't like the new 2NE1 songs either, but they'd probably appeal to the average western twerking retard.

  8. Actually, Bubble Pop is what got me into KPop. But seriously, stanning YG (has-been company) for why KPop is amazing is like saying why Mo-Town proves soul music is the best type of music out there.

Old news, and it was never accurate to begin with.

  10. She's actually listed a few things which I hate about K-Pop. Anyway I admire YG for being able to play fangirls like a harp.

  11. Not exaCtly pop but drake got the owl trend booming right now in hip hop.

    1. lmao that threw me off but yeah kpop is not better than anything and we're all losers

  13. Out of all the kpop groups out there to compare, madafaka had to choose the 2 biggest posers in the kpop world. That skinny ho g druggin basically just combined visual kei and american rap and call it "music". madafaka don't even live in a ghetto. bitch ass 2ne1 just try to hard to be black, especially that ugly cunt cl.

  14. Wait, so, Kpop, a try-hard, often plagiarized version of American Pop is better because....they dance in colorful boxes and rip-off concepts and dances we already saw from American Pop/Hip-Hop and RnB in the 90's? Or because they had to train, for like a decade, to be able to hold one note decently....I'm lost.

  15. I agree. Synchronized dancers with lipsinc solos better not be called singers! Although I admit that the synchronized dancing is something I like a lot.
Many choruses are in English. To me that is more than trying to sound cool (blah blah connecting with international fans blah) , it is a sign of inferiority.

On a side note: I would have liked to see how the author would have tried to show the superiority of kpop with groups like Boyfriend and Apink (or OC).
