They don't let the industry develop into the competition it should be because the monopolize everything with that SM Town BS. Different groups should be winning awards year after year, not the same old predictable people over and over again; but then again, the Korean Award system continues to allow this to happen with having popularity voting happen at "prestigious" award shows and nominating artist for categories they have no business being nominated for; I mean, have you seen the nominations lists? they are like grocery list; so that's another ball park all-together.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the music industry isn't suppose to be, support all of us cause we are all under the same label, everyone is suppose to fight and work hard for their individual fans, SM artist come out of the gate cocky because they know they already have a fan-club of at least 70k established before they even open their mouths. This is why SM keeps releasing the same old crap again and again...SM town stans continue to eat that same old recycled shit up. I'm sure if Lady Gaga and Beyonce were on the same label, they wouldn't be promoting each other, they would be fighting to get the top spot as soon as possible so that they could get the most money from Colombia or inter-scope or whoever so that they could continue to make better MV's and pay for better songs. But whatever, I say continue to let them fight each other or full on support each other cause they are "family" they will fall eventually, it's bad enough only SNSD is truly popular in SM anyway. SUJU has been doing that same old SPAO endorsement (which is owned by SM) for how many years now? SM is gonna burn out soon. Once SNSD falls from the TOP (and they will one day no-matter what sones believe) who are they truly gonna have?
Hey AKPF. Can you guys write something about those horrible fanfics you keep mentioning? I think they're hilariously bad. I read the synopsis of one which was about Sunny and Hyomin having a lesbian relationship, but were natural enemies because SNSD were angels and T-ara were vampires. I think it'd be nice to have an article that shares terribad fanfics with the AKPF community.

ReplyDeleteSM has been doing subgroups before 2PM/2AM even debuted (SJ-KRY was 2006 & SJ-T was 2007 & SJM was early 2008)...And both groups are not promoting in the same country (Exo-Korea & Exo-(M)China)......
I'm looking forward to this group, haven't been interested in any 2011 rookie group so hoping SME's EXO is the answer.....

Realize they're neglecting on the senior groups now? cheap outfits, crappy sets and lazy songs that are no longer as good as they use to be. But instead, EXO gets this VIP treatment from the company. Pisses me off so much. These boys sound and look the same to me, not unique at all, if it wasn't for them riding on SM's name, they'd be nothing but a looks group.
