[MV Review] Rainbow - Gonna Gonna Go!

Rainbow makes another foray into the Japanese market with their first original song "Gonna Gonna Cum Go!" 

After achieving moderate success in Japan with their first couple of singles, Rainbow releases an original composition to follow up.

The MV is your standard dance-in-a-box with closeups, but at least Rainbow has the fapulous dance and some beauties/cuties to make it worthwhile. The boxes are quite nice, and the dance is pretty good. There's a lot of flashy moves to catch your attention. And ass. Lots of ass. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself:

But hey, the dance isn't all faps and asses. There's pop, lock, and pussydrop too.

Rainbow knows Japanese fappers love their OLs, so Rainbow gave those bitches OLs.

I'm understandably at a loss for words to caption this with.

The girls themselves look good in their outfits and makeup (most of them), but it boggles the mind as to why someone would put a blouse together with a tutu-like skirt. Why, Japan. Why?

The song itself is fairly cut-and-dry. The intro and chorus irritate me because in their efforts to appeal to the mainstream Japan market (rather than the just KPop-lovers), Rainbow seems to have affected the stereotypical kawaii girl's high-pitched voice. As most of you Japophiles (or JAV connoisseurs) may know, this high-pitched voice affectation permeates every goddamn woman's voice when they talk to men, and this is no exception.

That being said, the verses are still pretty solid, and their Japanese is adequate enough to tell they're speaking the language. The rap isn't too glaringly out of place, and I found it to be pretty decently worked in. The transition from rap to climax isn't too rough either. If you're not a fan of English in songs, I don't recommend this song for you. "Gonna go" is repeated ad nauseum, and it begins to grate on the nerves after a few listens.

TL;DR:

Fairly standard MV albeit with fapulous visuals that help distract you from the fairly grating hook. Still a good song though.
