On Sunday (6/2) when I wrote this, I somehow managed to make it through a few pages of allkpop's new horrible design and found seven fucking articles released about Hyori in the past couple of days. Man, this bitch needs to learn how to shut the fuck up. The more I listen to this bitch, the more retarded I think she is. She could have a much better image if she would just shut up and stop lying about herself.
Article one: Boohoo, I don't want to promote since I can't continuously get #1 on music shows. You see, every star has their peak, and Hyori hasn't realized that her's has passed. She should just be thankful that her fans still stick with her bad music.
Article two: "I don't have to be #1 to be happy, but since I'm making such a big fuss about it, please make me #1."
Article three: Hyori apologizes to Sunhwa, but says something funny. "I am sorry, Sunhwa. It was meant to be a joke. You will become a great singer who will surpass me." What she means to say to Sunhwa is all that she needs to do to surpass her is to just be a singer.
Article four: "Since Baek Ji Young and Han Hye Jin are getting married, I'll mention marriage even though I have no intentions to marry at this time."
Article five: Ivy rejects Hyori's self-composed song for good reasons.
Article six: Hyori shows how stupid she is by rejecting CF contracts, which is how Asian celebrities get most of their income.
Article seven: Hyori was worried that people wouldn't recognize her. Seriously?
I used to like Hyori when I first got into Kpop, but I just can't like her as a celebrity. She's so smug that she enjoys the smell of her own farts.
Hyori is a fine ass bitch and fine ass bitches do not have flaws of any kind. I should know because I am one as well. Besides, no one should be paying attention to what comes out of our mouths (only what goes in) because your attention should be focused on our perfect racks and nice asses.
ReplyDeleteOn a more realistic note I think Hyori's personality is more suited for a western artist than it is for modest (snobby) Koreans. That's why she's one of the only female artists in KPOP I can relate to.

Honestly, Hyori's been smug for years. But, because she was/is hot, people excuse her smug and slightly rude behavior for being "real," "honest" or "down-to-earth." Hyori was/is allowed to get away with being so smug because "average" looking people allowed it...they are the ones with the mentality that beautiful people deserve X,Y,Z and have no faults....beautiful people don't think like that until it's what they're told and then they start to believe their own hype.

She thinks she's a legit singer/entertainer and that people like her ballads because their has been no proof stating otherwise. Fans vote for her and people buy her albums, she wins awards and gets paid, based off of her popularity as a "singer", to promote lifestyle products. With all this positive support, why wouldn't she think that she's talented and therefore, sing more ballads and produce more albums?
But is Hyori really talented? No, she's just a hot girl with a hot bod that people blindly support and lie to about her musical talents because..........she is hot? Huh?
And now, because she's been hyped up so much, she looks down on every other artist promoting. She thinks they are all aspiring to be her because as fas as she's concerned, based on her wealth and popularity, she's worth aspiring to. She even think's she good enough to compose music for others. Yea...OK.
It's really weird how society works. Especially since it's always seemingly a "surprise" when "ugly" people are talented when in fact, looking back at the industry (idol only) it's apparent that it's filled with barely to completely untalented "good-looking" (using the term loosely) people.
I really just don't get it.
And...smug personalities aren't welcome anywhere. Look at Christina. E Her bad attitude became public knowledge and she lost lots of support. Her smug attitude on the voice only made things worse.

DeleteIt took everything out of me just to navigate those five or so pages to get all of these articles. Back in 2009, they had a great design, but it has gotten progressively worse every year. They try to make it user friendly, but it just becomes user unfriendly.

I have no intention on making AKF politically correct like Asian Junkie. I enjoy reading AJ, but I'm not going to change AKF so as to not offend people through the AKF character.
I'm a queer male and have been visiting AKF for a good two years; I obviously understand what sarcasm is or else I would have been offended by many of the site's comments long ago. This article, to me, sounded more angry than sarcastic. I'm all for not being politically correct, but I feel it's also important to check one's privilege (whether it be white, male or hetero privilege) once in a while.
