Hello all. We interrupt your daily fangirl musings to bring you a special announcement.
I've been doing some thinking/brainstorming, and I thought it would be a nice idea to do a AKF livestream ((kinda like what Netizenbuzz has for her fans/readers)). It'll probably be only me until more authors get on board with the idea, and/or we figure out a way to do multiple webcams, but it would be a good opportunity for you all to interact with us.
This is your opportunity to ask us about anything you want, or to get a look at how we run things around here. If you're interested, I'm probably going to set this up for next Saturday evening (July 20th), perhaps at 5PM PST (subject to change).

I reckon worth doing even if nobody shows - it will get more popular if you make it a regular thing. 5PM Sunday PST is the most shithouse time for me though, that's basically when I'm supposed to be at work Monday morning, so I couldn't be there unless I took the day off (which is easy enough to do, but losing money is too unappealing to do this on a regular basis). I'm all for multi-webcam thing too, but don't ask me how you'd implement that.

DeleteRight now it's 11:30 AM Saturday where I live (GMT+9:30). My Saturdays and Sundays are basically free most of the time. This sort of time right now is actually pretty ideal. It's only once it starts tipping into very late Sunday night and Monday morning for me that I'm screwed. This is making the big assumption that you want me in it of course lol
DeleteAlthough I probably have to play a show next Saturday sometime so that could complicate things. Can't remember exactly when it's booked for. Anyway, I'll be there if I can.

DeleteYeah because PST is GMT-7 or GMT-8 or some shit, that means that if you do a Sunday 5PM PST broadcast, for America east coast it'll be like 10 or 11pm Sunday which is good for them and the rest of the world gets fucked in the ass with either real late night/early morning timeslots for Europe or Monday at school/work timeslot for Asian region. Make it Saturday instead, that'll fix the problem mostly.

DeleteNB removed AKF from the affiliates long ago because people there were complaining that NB even dared to affiliate with AKF. While cleaning up the affiliates last night (sulli_fag deleted Wez Asian Beznotches and Faces of Kpop and Best Music From Worst Korea were dead), I also decided to remove NB because affiliation is a two-way street.
