Judging from how everybody hates this song, I've already taken the liberty of loving it just to piss everyone off. But seriously guys, come on! It's a Japanese song released by a kpop group, what did you expect? I actually think its pretty good. I like it better than their last one.
I don't think it's terrible, just average. Nothing awful about it - nothing that outstanding about it either. It's listenable enough but if SNSD had debuted with a song of this quality they would have sunk without a trace.
SNSD's Paparazzi is pretty jjangbak. I was too taken by Heaven, Rambling Girls was my favorite Japanese release by AS but really, SNSD and AS are the only groups really capable of consistently releasing good Japanese songs.
snsd is the lamest top group/artist i have ever seen in any country & genre. they like have no desire to progress as artists or do shit for themselves. they'll be in their 10th year still recording these repetitive mv's and happily memorizing demos and dances handed to them.
Actually, I feel that SM experiments with their shit all the time, consciously knowing that SNSD could achieve an all-kill with 3 minutes of pig-shit. Their Japanese singles have definitely been uninspired though
