See her miraculous works, believe and repent, bitches!
As with all miracles, the exact meaning is up to interpretation. Some believers think it is a sign that she divinely blessed the world with the wisdom of Yin & Yang thousands of years ago. Others think her Holy Window of Alteration shows that she exists on all planes of existence, beyond colors, beyond black and white, so all ethnicities are welcome and united unto her.
Fapping with my imaginary straight Dee
ReplyDeletewell, after witnessing live Tarja Turunen's solo debut, i'm kinda disappointed. but then again i'm not her target audience ...
ReplyDeleteenjoy your ajumma singing boring soundwall music
Deletewell , imho, you're free to interpret and/or misinterpret what i've written ... and thus, whlie i appreciate your response, i've got nothing to add to my previous statements. :-)
Deletelol who
DeleteHad to Google it, she's a Finnish singer, but no amount of Google will help me see what she has to do with Lord Cyclopsington
Delete@TheFishHook - ok. it's about "solo debut" as in "i can and will do better alone, without the group/band" (better lyrics, better sound, better shows, a.s.o.) ... and, while the aforementioned singer didn't disappoint after choosing to go solo, it seems i'm not the only one who's not too impressed by Jiyeon's solo debut. i mean it's not bad, but i hoped for more/better. maybe i'm wrong, but i think we all try do our best in our jobs and artists should do the same ...
DeleteLol are you serious right now? Tarja will never be anywhere near as good by herself as she was with Nightwish. Her glory days are long gone.
DeleteNot to mention comparing metal to pop music is pretty stupid. Everyone knows pop isn't made to be good, it's made to be easy to follow and accessible to anyone.
Well, to be fair, Nightwish is also just pop-metal.
Delete@xxcurestfuxx - i am very stupid and i know that for sure :-)
Deletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwMYcyo0slc
That was awful.
DeleteTarja totes got booted out, yo... weird-ass shit... had hoped to watch the Tarja-era Nightwish live but NOPE, bloody bastards had to break up first :l
DeleteAlso it's a tad different genre, don't ya think.
Fun 'n sexy pop vs. her stuff.
I agree with curest though, Tarja-era Nightwish was best Nightwish and best Tarja... she's coolios but it's just not as awesome without the sound of Nightwish :l
Also, Jiyeon is super hawt.
Seriously hawt, huzzah for T-ara and Jiyeon's new solo antics (now for Hyomin!).
I love Jiyeon and T-ara but this solo debut kinda disappoint me, especially after the stunning "Goodnight Kiss" by Hyosung. But it's okay, I guess I'll grew into this song.
ReplyDeleteI agree she doesn't quite have the level of mystique required to pull off something this subtle (i.e. Sunmi). So, it needs more spice to enthrall, but at this level I think she's a competent solo performer.
DeleteYes, as a solo performer she's really competent. Maybe just the wrong song and concept. She shouldn't be given those dance moves, for me it looks like they're trying so hard to make her look sexy. If she was given a dominatrix villain-esque type of sexy and dance moves that are not so in-your-face-sexy, it will blow us away.
DeleteOn a side note, I'm counting down the time until they ban those grinding on the wall move she does. Hahaha
KBS probably already sent CCM the bad news, they'll probably have her out there sitting in a chair singing, no determination Hwayoung style.
Delete^ Hahahaha.
DeleteOn an unrelated note, I actually really love the stop motion / story part of her MV. What a masterpiece. If only it's not criss cross-ed with the blatantly sexy dance scene it would have been epic. And the live too. Imagine her singing as a sexy mental patient. Aaaahh~
Ga in/sunmi would surely rock the concept more
DeleteYep, bad news have been confirmed. Changed choreos starting at Core and Inkigayo. Bastards want the Japanese market, I say fuck the Japanese market.
DeleteNeeds less clothes.....However on a more serious note, can anyone figure out how she did that ? I watched that scene five times the transistion is fucking smooth.I need answers....
ReplyDeletei'm not an expert but i think it's about the lighting and the materials used when making her outfit. it could be similar to this: http://www.gizmag.com/lumen-retro-reflective-city-bike/31323/
DeleteHowever they did it, it was Grade A Kung Fu Treachery
DeleteThat was an interesting and pretty cool choreographed performance.
ReplyDelete...I still don't know how the "miracle" happened.
ReplyDeleteJiyeon coming to baptise with fire and the holy spirit yaaass queen
ReplyDeleteJiyeon is trying to hard to be sexy. I prefer Hyomin(or even Qri) to go solo. At least both of them can pull off this kind of thing effotlessly.
ReplyDeleteI love the song and MV so much!!!
ReplyDeletethe live performance was perfect. I watched the streaming of the music show live, and her performance was the only one worth watching.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't like the song at all, but I don't hate it too, it's just so meh.
ReplyDeleteAlso the choreography at the chorus, where she lifts her clothes up to the back is awkward as fuck.
I liked the choreography and her "mirror images". The song itself is kinda meh. It's too bad the jacket is part of the dance, she'd look sexier without it. I think she could pull off the sexy concept well, but usually she's dressed all wrong and it kind of ruins it.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't noticed over the years, KKS seems to have a thing for women in suit jackets.
DeleteSuch splendid edit work with after effect or w/e software they use in that changing clothe magic. And the way they keep the lightning set up is beyond terrific. Back to the song, it's kinda good but the choreo just doesnt fit
ReplyDeletethe only thing that impressed me was the mirror trick.
ReplyDeleteI think the choreography is kinda self-contradictory. The song is not bad, a good sad song. Her facial expression kinda suits the song (more depressed / empty smiley face might be good), but some sexy poses just don't fit the mood....but all in all, she's really hot. no doubt
