TL;DR They used Bom's drug channels to hide profits and to shift income. See, Bom still had a role to play in YG instead of reminding people every day that it's Halloween.
I'm no business professional, but naybe they didn't make enough of a profit to pay back both their taxes and for the almost back-to-back investments/debuts for WINNER, iKon, and BLACKPINK. Either way, YG still fucked up.
Oh I agree that it doesn't excuse him at all. There just has to be some reason besides corruption that a top 3 company that makes so much money would avoid paying their taxes. That would be just too boring. I expected more from the real hep hawp guru YG. :/
