After reading the comments of both articles, including Yanmerfret's extensive quoted comment, I've decided SLW is not a crazy Sone and here is why.

Nine hot girls makes songs for five years are beaten by a fat guy that has been gone for two years with one song. I can see how that can aggravate people.
But then SLW expressed her liking for mainstream music. Its ok to listen to mainstream, I do once in a while but that doesn't make me a hipster/trendy. Just like listening to SNSD songs doesn't make you a Sone.
People misinterpreted the above and labeled SLW a Sone, therefore dismissing any SLW's points by simply calling SLW crazy.
PSY's been in the game since 2001, twice as long as SNSD have. Sones normally are the ones starting shit by talking-down to other groups. They can't stand it when other groups (male or female) get attention for something they claim SNSD "already did". For example, when KARA got acknowledged by Ryan Seacrest, when KARA won the Hallyu award, when KARA shit all over them in Japan and so on and so fourth. Sones are really petty over a group that produces some pretty shitty music. Most of the members aren't even attractive. I wouldn't mind sones but they hate on KARA too much. I loves me some KARA, they actually put out decent music and are nice to look at.

In rock and metal scene I only found hybrids of rap metal. Other than that kpop idols dominate way to much. Even trot and ballad singers are gettong beat out. But maybe that is just me. I don't quite live there,speak the language nor have time to find more.
Japan is the mother land for diverse genres of music in Asia. Sorry if that offends anyone but that is the bitter truth. On top of that they love rock. I don't mind hip hop. Like some pop and dance but ptrefer darkwave. I can not stand indie. But a true hardrock,alternative,progressive,death,thrash,black,doom,indutrial metal/rock lover. These genres are so hard to find in korea but not in japan.

DeleteOrangeDoodle, you seem to think that both music and beauty are objective, they aren't. They're both subjective. Personally, I enjoy most of SNSD's music. It isn't great, but barely any k-pop songs are great. I do, however, believe that they would be better off as a four/five girl group consisting of Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, Jessica and possibly Sunny. In regards to how beautiful they are, I would agree that in that I myself do not find the majority of the group attractive, Taeyeon, Sunny and Tiffany being the only three I find attractive. On the comment of horrible fans, EVERY group has them.
