4 Secret Minutes of Drama

The thing about music is that everything builds on something else. It takes influences from things we've done, things we've seen, things only we have experienced in our own unique way and smushes it all together to make a brand new sound. It's only a natural process of creativity, especially in the pop market.

So when 4nias try to start shit with SECRET over their Poison comeback, all I can do is laugh.

I hate using Tumblr gifs...


Basically, the whole premise is that 4nias (I guess you could say netizens in general, but come on who really cares about 4Minute except 4nias?) are accusing SECRET of swaggajacking 4Minute in several ways.

Everyone knows 4Minute has a monopoly on the fap dance!! It's not like any other group HAS EVER DONE IT BEFORE, 4Minute is definitely the first to develop this move.

3. OMO SECRET STOLE 4MINUTE'S SAX

Who cares if the sax riffs sound nothing alike, the fact that 4Minute did saxophone in KPop first (I'm honestly not sure, but it's probably not true anyway) means that SECRET totally ripped off Volume Up!! What a bunch of instrumental-stealing skanks!! On that note...

4. OMO SECRET STOLE 4MINUTE'S SLUT-SHAMING IMMUNITY

IT'S NOT FAIR. How come when 4Minute does sexy, everyone accuses them of being sluts and whores but when SECRET does sexy EVERYONE JUST FAPS? Double-standard much?!

((This is actually the most legitimate complaint that I happen to completely back up, but since they phrased it in such a butthurt way...))

 AND THAT'S WHY SECRET SHOULD DISBAND, THEY'RE JUST A BUNCH OF FAT COWS ANYWAY AMIRITE.

      I agree with Cass Kay.

      Both groups are hot but somehow, I'm more drawn to Secret than 4minute. I still like Jihyun but if it's a battle between Jihyun and anyone from Secret (except Zinger), I'd choose Secret.

      CUBE knows Hyuna is only good for one thing....touching her-self (which everyone loves...almost everyone). She doesn't really have any other decent talent but she can do the whole touchy-thing pretty well.

    I noticed those things that were listed when I watched the MV too but it's not like I really cared......plus it's not any of it was truly similar.

    Still can't get over how hot Zinger has became and when the hell is the Jiyoon/Gayoon sub-unit ever gonna happen?

      I give Tumblr gifs a lot of shit, but really they're shitty mostly because it's hard to make quality gifs that fit under the now 1MB limit. It was even worse before when the limit was 500KB. Oh lawd, those were dark times.

      That being said, there's plenty of ways to work around it. People are just hipsters who want to make the pretty layouts/presentation for notewhoring.

    Honestly, the only reason 4minute gets so much slut-shaming is because of the Hyuna-haters. So far I've see plenty of people complaining that Secrets dance was "to provocative", and that they're glad it was modified when they performed at music bank

    4minute? I was getting more of a Beyonce vibe. The first scene was definitely an ode to "Dance for You" The choreo was Bey-like and they even threw in the lines "Crazy Love" and "Irreplaceable"

    but as for this article. These are not dance moves that are unique. These types of dance moves have been around for decades now. Plus Kpop is not original for the most part--they need to get over it. Plus we all know CHOCOLAT did the fap dance first LOL. DAT TIA!!!!!!

    only reason people think secret is hot, talented, famous, etc is because they all have cellulite and love handles. 4minute has hot bodies that none of you fat pigs will ever be able to achieve so stay mad and keep refreshing SECRET's MV bc obviously none of you care enough to buy the flop song.
