Jang Geun Suk is essentially the Bae Yong Joon of his generation in Japan. Not nearly as popular as "Yon-sama", but JGS is by and far the most popular Korean actor in Japan right now. He releases shit like this and has a shitload of fans to show for it.
I would say that he should just focus on Japanese if he can release diarrhea like this and still get a lot of fans to buy his shit. I would go down that route instead of studying for an English exam.
