Song Ji Eun is making a solo comeback, and this time it is without Bang Yongguk ruining her song. From the looks of it, Ji Eun is finally getting a real solo song this time. Yongguk rapped a lot more than Ji Eun sang in Going Crazy, and since Yongguk is a pretty poor rapper, well, that really anally raped the song. When the song came out, I was thinking, "TS Entertainment, you fucking UCAADs, I wanted to hear Ji Eun, not some shitty rapper from the underground that couldn't make it and had to join an idol group in order to sustain his career."
Me likey likey!
ReplyDeleteThe thing I remember most about Going Crazy is the blue hair and burning a guy alive, mostly the blue hair.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know she had a solo debut.
ReplyDeleteIn the context of idols: the deeper the voice, the better the rapper. TOP, Minho, Kris, and Yongguk are virtually legends in the minds of Kpop fans. I'm looking forward to Jieun, though. (:
ReplyDeletethe truth makes me cringe
DeleteI can handle T.O.P and Yongguk, but as hot as Kris is, his rapping is close to mediocre. I might as well just forget Minho.
DeleteKinda off-topic: I wonder if any FISHies here like Aziatix like me.
DeleteI friggin' love Song Jieun. Her voice is so soothing and beautiful...
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I liked Yongguk's rap, though I do agree it took up too much of the song. Like Mad Clown's rapping in "Stupid in Love" (the difference between the two being that I thought Mad Clown's rapping was absolutely awful). I want to hear more singing, damnit... Especially when you have voices like Soyou or Jieun.
i heard the teaser for that mad clown song and i was so repulsed i couldn't even listen to the whole thing
DeleteI didn't hear about it until like May this year, and I was expecting Yongguk to just rap for like 20 seconds like other featuring rappers, but NOPE.
DeleteIt's supposed to be a "duet" but MC gets like, 75% of the song and the scraps are throw to Soyou. Seriously, in the second verse, you have to listen to his shit flow for pretty much a solid minute before Soyou's voice comes back and saves the damn thing. How he qualifies as a rapper is absolutely beyond me, his rapping is so... awkward. Hell, it should have just been a solo for Soyou, because she did her part wonderfully.
DeleteMy sister keeps replaying that song and Mad Clown's was terrible ugh.
DeleteI pretty much only play it for Soyou. In fact, I'm thinking about just cutting out his parts all together and putting Soyou's parts on my MP3, because I thought her voice was beautiful. But his rapping... Jesus Christ, who let him in the industry!? (That could be said about a lot of people actually)
DeleteIt's definitely a song I could have fallen really hard for, but his rap completely ruined it for me. I'm so pissed....
Tablo or anyone from Baechigi could have asked Soyou. Sigh.
DeleteMore heart and soul than any idol singer. Only maybe four come close.
ReplyDeleteShe's the only reason I even care about Secret.
DeleteI AM REJOICING. DO YOU FEEL ME
ReplyDeleteI actually really liked Going Crazy, and have made GIFs of Jieun and Yongguk because I ship them and all, but like you and in all honesty, I would have absolutely replayed the shit out of it if it was only Jieun's singing.
I always thought it'd be a pedo relationship if they're shipped, (cuz of the whole sunbae-hoobae thing) but crap, I never realized they're both 1990
DeleteOmg lol you. Jieun is actually younger than him, surprisingly, and there are so many wild shippers it's crazy. I mean, I just appreciate and think that they would be really cute together, but then you have others with fantasies and I just...
DeleteOMO FUCK FAPFAPFAPFAPFAP
ReplyDeleteplus thank goodness Google finally improved the fuck out of Blogger's atrocious commenting interface. so 2000 and late
