RIP Nicole's career. You were my favorite Kara member since 5ever ago, and not just because of your ass. In commemorating the likely end of your career, I had to make one last edit of you.
Actually, those three are the three DSP actually gave a shit about so they have a ton of stuff to do. Gyuri is hosting that show w/ Seungyeon and also has an OST coming out. Seungyeon has the new mini-drama along with the MC jobs and Hara was just on a show as the main MC and has been on the cover of almost every magazine these days and still shooting for more. Those three are chummy with lots of "higher-up" like directors and producers and stuff. Expect for Hara t leapfrog with a movie or highly rated drama very soon. Same with Gyuri.
To be completely honest, I have doubts about Nicole's future in entertainment outside of Kara, although I do wish her the best. I appreciate the Kamilias' support of her but I think that musically, all of the members are going to have a rough go of it in Kpop after they disband.
Realistically though, you really can't compare her to Lee Hyori, who was already extremely popular as an individual celebrity even when she was with Fin.K.L. I don't think that Nicole has or had that status that Hyori had.
Hyori has that charisma (hopefully the right word), where she always has that smiles and does everything with confidence. She is also really pretty and I guess she has a good body, Nicole is totally replaceable imo.
Can I ask if this is an insult or a compliment to Nicole? I understand that this blog has its own unique sense of humor so I just want clarify on the intent of this edit.
What the author meant was, most artistes who leaves their popular idol group often end up in obscurity. Look at Jay Park. He left 2PM and now his career is stagnant. Hwayoung left T-ara and now she's becoming an actress or something. Ahreum left T-ara and we haven't heard of her since, unless you checked her Instagram. Basically, we miss Nicole, but her career is likely to end after leaving Kara, where she would have support from fans and leaving for the less known companies. It's like going back to square one.
