Fangirls still manage to surprise me.

Kpop has a long standing tradition of dressing all their male idols up as girls at the very least once in their career. Idols themselves have mentioned over the years that they hate being dressed as girls but still they proceed because it make the girls scream like a bunch of banshees.

Usually when this happens you see comments such as:

"He looks so much prettier then me and I'm a girl!"
"Wah, look how skinny his legs are. SO JEALOUS"
"woah!! daebak!!! (insert idol name) is prettier than a girl"
etc...



I have come to expect these comments from fans. But for some reason this latest kissing/cross-dressing stunt from SM has gotten the opposite reaction.  In a nutshell, Taemin is dressed as a girl (big surprise) and Kyuhyun and Changmin sing (in terrible english) then end up kissing Taemin on the cheek and the top of his head. I'd of expected fangirls to swoon at the sight of such a romantic (is that even the right word) action. However, much the opposite has happened. People are actually coming to his defense.

Comment range from little bit of dislike:
"Totally dislike whoever made Taemin dressed up as a girl, and even more irked seeing him as a girl being kissed by boys."   

To Outrage:
"Give me back my manly Taemin.. ='( Although he's really cute & pretty more than a girls but this is too much, Taemin seems he didn't want to do it but was force to & i hate to see it ='( SM!! How Dare Youuuuuu!!!! >=( "

Although the delusional swooning comments are still there. I've seen a lot less of them since Taemin mentioned he no longer wanted to dress as a girl and felt he wanted to be manlier. Good luck to him but if he wanted to be manlier he needs to put on a few extra pounds to start with and then change his entire persona (his "I'm so shy" crap is getting old).
