The fairly new YouTube channel Idolic TV is continuing to become a favourite of mine. The channel releases content regularly with Japanese and Chinese subtitles as well as English subtitles for all videos, excluding dance practices. It is perfect for when you want a dose of K-pop reality but don't want to sit through 40 minute long videos as the videos are generally no longer than 10 minutes (some outliers). And they recently released not one or two dance practices for Hello Venus' latest release "I'm Ill / I'm Art" but 14.

Ecological Messages in K-Pop

As you may have guessed from the fact that one of the authors has a whale shark for an avatar, all of us at AKF care deeply about the environment and the preservation thereof. In between my daily acts of masturbation and gardening, I like to see how K-Pop represents my views, and I am pleased to say that a lot of K-Pop carries with it a deeply powerful ecological message. Today I wish to present to you a handful of the K-Pop videos that show a strong concern for the state of our earth and all creatures on it, especially whale sharks. I see no reason to beat around the bush any longer; let us begin.

[MV] Hello Venus - StickySticky International Version
Yet again a lovely group has come back with... a real stinker. Yes, while Korea may love boring shit like Busker Busker and Lim Kim, when testing songs on Western ears agencies have found we desire something with a bit more... chutzpah, so to speak.
So, much like when After School tried to put us asleep with First Love, for the international release from Hello Venus we see Brave Bros getting his tired old ass kicked to the curb where he can listen to Ah and remember when he was relevant.
In his place we have a saucy track that fits the energy that the girls bring to the table, and I have used my deep connections with Alice, Lime, and Yooyoung to net us the exclusive premiere. Enjoy.
