So, both of their songs got leaked and I listened to both of them. Usually SM has their groups release good and bad songs in an equal ratio, but two good songs out back to back. Yes, I know Mr. Taxi is because of Universal Music Japan, but that's beside the point.
In Mr. Taxi, SNSD's Japanese doesn't sound as awful as it was last year, but their accent is still easily noticeable. In Pinocchio, Amber learned how to rap. Well, it's not like she had anything else to do in her year off of trolling her fans. She's still bad, but she's now contending for "not the shittiest idol rapper" instead of having the "shittiest idol rapper" title all to herself.

SM blocked the video of f(x)'s Pinocchio on youtube already. I think Allkpop helped in posting the damn thing on their site. LOL.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have a feeling the songwriter behind Lucifer, Hurricane Venus etc. probably took part in writing Mr. Taxi since there's "supersonic hypertonic" in the lyrics. And we all know that one songwriter loves making up words - Yoo Young Jin.
There's actually no random "-ic" words in Pinocchio. I was surprised.
