Song Hye Kyo is going to be suing netizens in their 20s and 30s for spreading false rumors about her. I say it's a good thing. Yes, we may have "freedom of speech", but it doesn't entitle you to be a dick/cunt while trying to ruin another person's reputation/career.
I think people can make fun of celebrities, but spreading Rumor like "Hyuna left WonderGirls because she got mPREGNANT!" is Rude and Wrong. It is No Wonder people do sh*te like this sometime, in real life some people actually believe they are higher than others because they are Normal and Not a Celebrity. Am I the only one who likes m-flo but thinks they would be better without Verbal's raps? I find myself more often than not liking m-flo's songs in spite of Verbal rather than because of him. Hands will remain forever flawless tho.
There's a small set of people who don't like Verbal and only like the vocalists they feature. However, Verbal is easily my favorite Japanese rapper because of how great he was during Planet Shining and Expo Expo.
Hands is my favorite Japanese song, and Verbal really did make Japanese work well in raps despite how limited the Japanese language because of the lack of sounds the language possesses.

Verbal had really creative lyrics back then, had a lot of multi-syllable rhymes, had a monster flow, and could easily switch back and forth between Japanese and English. Nowadays, he is still good, but he, like most rappers, dumbed down his lyrics because that was the general trend in mainstream hiphop around the world.
Your last paragraph is pretty interesting since I listened to their discography in reverse chronological order (unfortunately I haven’t listened to Expo Expo yet) and while I didn’t quite like Verbal during the 'm-flo loves... project' (I feel he was overshadowed by some of the guest vocalists* but especially by Taku’s samples) I came to aprecciate him more when I listened to Planet Shining. You could indeed tell the difference in quality of his lyrics.
*Personal faves are Double in 'Life is Beautiful' and Rie Fu in 'Float n' Flow', Taku killed both samples too.
I love Float n' Flow. The song is so chill and perfect this time of year. if you feel like Taku overshadowed Verbal in the Loves series, Taku definitely does in their new era (Square One and Neven.) The new albums really focus on Taku's production as opposed to the vocalists or Verbal. I may be one of the few to actually like this change.
But yet, Planet Shining is where Verbal was at the top. His two verses from L.O.T. are among my favorite of his.
