Ohmigosh, hi everybody it's Tiffany here!  I'm so happy to be here!  Kpopalypse always gets questions about Korean culture but he doesn't live in Korea, so he asked me to write something about my favourite country in the world for you who are thinking of coming to Korea!  This is absolutely unexpected and exciting and humbling all at the same time!  Let's learn all about Korea!

In honour of Fei's sextastic solo debut, I've decided to do a mini review (like, a few sentences. I have a day job) of every single female solo debut from 2015 and 2016 (so far, obviously). Here are the debuts from 2016 so far:

So Jessica attended a Blacn&Eclare event, and she looks gorgeous as always. However of course salty netz have to shit on her because they feel that anyone with a career is a threat to their lives or something.

Hey everyone, it's your good friend Kpopalypse, back again to share lovely positive vibes with all of you fantastic readers!  This post is especially dedicated to appreciating the lovely charms of Jessica!

STEP ASIDE T-ARA, THE NEW ILJIN GROUP IS IN (SM)TOWN

Ok, everyone's shitting themselves in either rage or schadenfreude right now but let's take a step back to look at the bigger picture that netizens have yet to pick up on.

Jessica posted the following message on her Weibo to kickstart this all off:

"...shockingly informed by my company AND 8 OTHERS..."

"I'm deeply saddened and hurt by those WHO I TRUSTED and hope that you don't ever have to experience THIS KIND OF PAIN."

Oh?? Not only is OT9 deader than a doormat but is that extremely circumstantial evidence that could possibly be construed as proof that Jessica was literally BULLIED/BACKSTABBED out of SNSD? T-ara who? SNSD are the new iljin bullies ready to be crucified on the internet.

Here are likely* beefs each member has with Jessica that you can pretend led to these shocking turn of events...

*and by likely I mean full of bullshit, but why can't we just T-ara logic SNSD for the sake of argument?

Earlier today Jessica or someone who hacked her weibo account posted the following:

I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I'm no longer a member. I'm devastated - my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out.

Fangirls and their Idiotic Slut-Shaming

Jessica's recent performance of Lee Hyori's "Miss Korea" sparked up the stupid fangirls to do what they do best: slut-shame. Slut-shaming isn't a new trend amongst the K-Pop community and happens every time a female idol does something that is considered "overtly sexual" by fangirls. There was a lot of slut-shaming going on when After School pole-danced and Girls' Day came out with "Expectation".

As a feminist I can understand where they're coming from. There's no doubt in my mind that women are exploited for the benefit of men in the entertainment industry, but slut-shaming totally goes against what I believe in. You don't just say that an idol is a slut, whore or a porn star just because she's acting sexy on stage or in a music video. That's totally unacceptable, especially since you don't know a thing about that idols personal life to even call her a slut.

The IMPORTANCE of the POWER of 9

There have been many discussions recently concerning Taeyeon, Seohyun, and Tiffany breaking away from SNSD and forming Taetiseo (or Taetitseo---as I call them). Sones from around the world are gathering together in a huge vocal protest against Taetiseo claiming the POWER of 9 should never have be broken; the Power of 3, they state, is superfluous and a reminder that the power of 9 will always dominate any and all subunits of Girls’ Generation.
