Sohee makes the best decision of her life

Today it was revealed that Sohee will not be renewing her contract with JYPE when it expires December 21st.


Reasons why this is good after the jump.


1) Wonder Girls was dead the second Sunye said "I do"

2) Korea likes Sohee


3) Korea doesn't like Sohee because of her singing


4) Sohee already gets 200x the exposure and business that Wonder Girls does


I know she has a lot of haters, but I happen to like her. I think her consistently quiet no-fucks-given do-what-I-want style is great and also perfect for being in the acting crowd in Korea, which is where she said she wants to go, or rather, remain. I am a bit sad that she never got an electric R&B album to relish in her obviously thriving sexuality (notice her shower song pick) from beginning to end of her time in WG...



...but maybe she'll just transfer that into more movies where she kisses girls.


Ultimately, whether you like her or not, you have to give her credit for being The Architect of the Matrix who is completing our reality.

    I loled when I read the NB article where people were blaming Sunye for this. Groups have promoted without members for a long time; if anything, it was JYP's decision to not promote WG.

    Ahh... Sohee, I love her IDGAF attitude. Sadly, WG are done for. No Sunye and now no Sohee. Yenny and Yubin can't carry that group alone. :(. JYP should drop Lim and have Yenny and Yubin join Miss A. Fei+Yubin, yes please.

    i havent followed her much to know if she did improve on acting to go and do acting 100% now.

    Kim Kwang Soo should put the hot members of WG (Yenny and Yubin) and the remaining members of KARA into T-ARA and rename the group TQP (Top Quality Pussies)

    This is all that Gorilla's fault. He signed WG's death certificate the minute he shipped them off to the US when they were at the peak of their popularity.

      I actually don't find her hateful for some reason...but she really should leave...
      IMHO a perfect WG would be something like: Yenny+Yubin+Sunye+Fei+Jia,
      or
      Yenny+Yubin+Sunye+Hyomin+Sunmi.

      We don't use AKP as a source anymore. Other sites reported it as a fact and are now just retracting it days later.
