Country Kpop

Ugh, I've started to care about 4Minute subgroup 2Yoon.*

My change of heart came about this week when Cube announced the concept of the group's impending album: country pop.


Oooh, sounds gimmicky. 



Is the album going to sound like American country music? Is Jiyoon going to rap? Can't ... stop ... imagining ... it in my head. Although I fear the outcome, I can't help but be intrigued at how it will turn out.

Plus, the album is called "Harvest Moon," and I'm always up for things that remind me of booze.


Inflatable toy ponies remind me of booze, too, btw.


Cube also released some teaser photos of Gayoon and Jiyoon doing typical "country" activities, such as talking to baby chickens and lying in the grass doing nothing.


This is what country folk do. ... Yeah I've been to the country before; why you askin'?


Will 2Yoon's album be any good? Only time will tell. While you wait for it to come out, enjoy this photo of Jiyoon with a pig:

* Oh yeah, they changed the group's name from Double Yoon to 2Yoon. I guess Cube wanted it to resemble the name 4Minute more in case anybody forgot which group the girls are from.

      If 2Yoon/CUBE's idea of Country Pop is anything like Taylor Swift's idea of Country Pop, I might enjoy this.

    I'm terrified that I will hate it. When I think of k-pop artists doing country I think of the HAM "So Sexy" disaster. Although it was awful it surprisingly got stuck in my head lol
