I'm not doing a review on Exid (mainly because I hate doing MV reviews I've discovered). The english lyrics of this song pay their respects to Gwen Stefani, I was waiting for them to start singing about bananas (if they had I'd have probably enjoyed the song more). Either way the english lyrics are as follows:
whoz that girl
tell me whoz that girl
whoz that girl
tell me whoz that girl
(no) i never act like that
i aint no holla back girl
but tell me whoz that girl
just show me
that is all i need
i'm out
out of ur love
baby just go get ur girl
Without getting into spelling errs and the fact that they are trying to be gangster with the lyrics while having a music video that plays on the cuter side, my only question is "Do they know what a holla back girl is?". To me that middle sections translates to "Hey no, I'm not a whore but who the
On a second note (still talking english) I've decided that the following words should no longer be found in kpop lyrics because they are way overused:
Tonight,
Party,
Butterfly,
Love, and
Baby
Anyone have words that just make there skin crawl when sung in kpop songs?
Fuck you guys. Seriously.

Deleteenglish isn't "popular" it's just forced on other peoples because of imperialism
ReplyDeleteso that's why you can't really make fun of kpop when their english is bad, we (assuming you're from the west) forced the language on them
they probably butcher it on purpose just to spite us
Correct. Totally agreed.

B-Bring the boys out
Easily the most overrated K-pop release of all time, SNSD's 'The Boys' proves that it really is indeed possible to move vinyl on star power alone. The eponymous title track is a confused mess of semi-coherent English lyrics, lazy composition and half-assed electronica that does nothing to show what the nine ladies are capable of. That said, no one in the industry is even sure of what SNSD is capable of now: for better or for worse, they are no longer in the same league as their music-making brethren.

DeleteI thought all asian girls have hairy pussies, never knew Soyeon would bother to spare some valuable time from her hectic schedule and probably sacrifices some of her sleep to shave her pussy. I am impressed.

Hey, OP, nice job with the perfect spelling/grammar in your article where you complain about perfect spelling and speaking English properly.
