The Best of the Worst: Jan. 8, 2015

I've been doing this feature on my blog for a couple years, but I've decided to share it here now, too. Basically, it's a roundup of the week's most ridiculous kpop news. You can read more about the inspiration for the feature here.

Now down to business. And by business, I mean the stupid shit that happened in kpop this week. We've got a celeb who looks like a dinosaur, the "Most Perfect Man of 2014," and an idol who lets famous people use his home for hookups.

This is where the magic happens.

Clearly, they needed a lot of filler for the Annual Mammoth Crossword.

  1. This is my favorite series of any blog of ever and now I get to be twice as efficient reading the entries on one site omg Thank you for this. C:

  2. Shout out to my boy TOP for being the best love hotel manager in KPop.

  3. LOL I said "Wait, this looks like the format used by the fany pack blog" Then I saw the author.

    haha k

  4. Interesting that SISTAR promise to do a free hug event if ratings for their show reach 2.3%.

  5. Kim Woo Bin has always admitted to looking like a dinosaur. His ahjumma fans even take babies dressed as dinosaurs to see him.

  6. I thought this quote was hilarious: "Until now, information about SISTAR’s members has been constrained mainly to their lives on stage and in the recording studio. That is set to change, however, as “SISTAR’s Showtime” will give audiences an unfiltered view of SISTAR’s daily lives."

Seriously? Oh yeah baby. A reality show is gunna be such an unfiltered glimpse into the real nitty-gritty of Sistar's lives, and not at all just a big advert for the group to sell them more in Korea...

    (Completely unscripted, I'm sure.)

  7. Does "Love Shack" play as the door bell ring at Top's house? Oh and I don't know if you saw but Lee Joon's new agency denied he's in a relationship. Of course EXO with the grotch grabbing. And ugh Koreaboo. If you call yourself that you deserve to get ridicule shit. I think they're the TMZ of Kpop and now more so that they're with Dispatch. Like, really?
