Yes, this isn't a pop song nor a hip hop song that most of our readers tend to enjoy. But I mean, come on, it's Davichi. Everyone loves them. It is just so beautiful and stunning. I think it's a ballad worth listening to. Plus, Verbal Jint is in it so... yeah that's kinda cool.
I am not doing a song critique or anything regarding it. Song of the Days are just for sharing music. I haven't posted one of these articles for months (or any article really), so some of our newer readers probably do not know what these "weekly" features are.
So if any of you have any recommendations, please send them to me via the comment section below, e-mail (zomg.oppa.sareanghae@gmail.com), twitter (akf_shinbi), or ask.fm (http://ask.fm/akfshinbi). Thanks, FISHies!
Premise:
Since Korean music is in general very catchy, I find myself addicted to songs constantly, leaving them on replay for days hours on end. So I thought I would share some of the many songs that I have been addicted to lately.
The whole point of this article is
just to share music with each other. This is in no way one of our funny
or trolling articles. I notice often in the chatroom (up top), many of
us are telling each other what are good songs and which artists to listen to.
So I felt that maybe posting them in the comment section below on an article would
make it easier to navigate whose recommendations you trust. They can be
old or new songs. Like I really care.
Feel free to post the song stuck in your head at this moment. You don't have to post your entire
Top 25 play list right now either. These articles will pop up
frequently, so you can share one song at a time.
I prefer Davichi's Missing you today. it's pretty much 3 syllables repeating over and over again; easy to sing to when you know shit-all korean
ReplyDeleteYou are like, a year late.
ReplyDeleteShinbi can we have male eye candies pls, so much girls :(.
Shinbot schedules these months in advance, so don't expect her to reply lol.
Deletea song that is always present in my playlist is SeeYa's His Voice (그놈 목소리) xD
ReplyDeleteI fucking love this song. I'm still saddened over SeeYa's disbandment.
Deletefinally!!! got to know someone who likes the song other than me ..
Deletelots of people get to misunderstand the song .. i actually think the autotune is a good element of the song, but lots of people complain about it.
and surprisingly, i find this more melancholic than any ballad SNSD have released ahahaha
actually, among SeeYa's songs, my favorites came from Rebloom EP (His Voice, Queen of Tears, T-Gana, Trust My Affairs). I also like all their collaborations (specially Blue Moon)
I am still hoping for KKS to call back Kim YeonJi to, at least, make Blue Moon 4.0 (a.k.a. Women's Generation 3.0) She lost a great singer there.
i mean "he" lost a great singer there
DeleteI'm pretty sure Yeonji was the one who wanted out, so I don't see it happening. :(
DeleteIf You don't mind with the 'older' Boram, It's still possible to have such collaborative project to create more "Wonder Woman"
Delete@AKF, yeah .. probably because she has the same case with Nicole (CCM does not put her on the spotlight she deserves. When Davichi came into the picture, all the promotional shenanigans of CCM focused on Davichi). But Davichi almost got out of CCM as well (most probably their own decision) and yet, KKS made something to hold them back (well, he needs more money specially with the scandal of we-know-which-group)
Delete@Cumikepo CCM still produces tons of collaboration but they're more on the ballads like Painkiller and We Were In Love (and more often than not, the collabs of CCM revolves around Davichi and members of T-ara, no Boram). When Boram performed with The SeeYa during their Poison promotions, she sang greatly and no one would realize that she is the member who got the least spotlight in SeeYa.
Too bad SeeYa isn't that united (and popular xC) to pull off some Shinhwa or Epik High and promote the group with a different company (probably, KKS will pull off some evil tactics to trash their image if ever they do that ahahaha)
recently i've actually been listening to a lot of frank ocean~
ReplyDeletebut the other day i had this really elaborate dream about how MBLAQ's mir passed away tragically in some vague way and when i woke up for an hour or so i actually thought he was dead?????
ok i just needed to say that to someone bye
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72se2qL33y4 <~ this one here I keep repeating
ReplyDeleteFiestar! i love Fiestar's Whoo! and Vista ..but this song disappointed me a bit xC
Deletevista i like but i dont know for me is a lot better than we dont stop so yeah this is my new thing from the 2eyes stuff while they're not promoting
DeleteHorrible camera work, all shaky and unsharp. I really dislike that in MVs.
ReplyDeleteSong's a typical boring ballad.
I'd much rather just look at some Kang Min Kyung pics.

ReplyDeleteNot Kpop, but Cpop. I have been in love with Hebe Tian's "Insignificance" lately.

For Kpop, I finally listened to Younha's 없어 and I love it. I may do a review of it soon.

Have you ever try any Lim Kim song?? It stuck in my head since I found her in late 2013..
ReplyDeleteTry This, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlMXZvY-_cM and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH_k_1Ah4gk Those are my favorite track of her.
In case of Davichi, I love 'Turtle' a lot more than 'Melting' or 'Missing You Today'..
