IU You and I

First, I wanna say you're better off watching the dance version of the MV. I found the story version pretty boring and there wasn't enough IU in it. The dance version focuses solely on IU, therefore it's the better version to watch.

Overall, I like the song and replayed the fuck out of it the first couple of days it came out, but God damn, I feel bad for IU. She's going to be stuck doing songs like this forever until she eventually loses her popularity. This song has the same formula and atmosphere as Good Day, as will the rest of her title tracks. Trust me, I hope to be wrong, but it is Kpop after all. Hell, Super Junior has been releasing the same song since 2009. I don't see it being any different for IU. Oh wait, she might shuffle and throw in a little dubstep into her next single.

  1. actually if you listen to IU's album the beginning starts out young and whimsical like a fairytale, but towards the end it becomes jazzy. i think once IU becomes an adult her music is going to sound more Corinne Bailey Rae-ish.

  2. I agree she's beautiful but her songs are so boring and cliche.

  5. I hate saying it, but I agree with sulli_fag. I lost interest about a minute and a half into the video.

  6. I agree with the other commenters.
I think IU is very pretty and she has a very pleasant voice for me. But her music just bores the hell out of me (and so does her personality). Imma sorry but I'll never be her fan if I dislike her songs.

Yeah her music is such fluff. It's bubblegum pop and reminds me of that kawaii jpop stuff that is such a huge turn off. Seriously, no male would ever be caught dead listening to these types of songs in their car. I wouldn't for sure. It's just soooo damn girly and sugary. Hate that stuff.

  9. yeah of course you fags would hate it... her songs are for teenage girls and middle age Korean uncles. No one ever market any KPOP song to white boys anyway so just be happy that you have a bias in KPOP... other wise you'll be relegated to all that lady gaga shit.

  10. I don't have an opinion on her songs but I'd put my I in her U if you catch my drift.

  11. IU putting dubstep in her songs wouldn't be much of a bad idea imo, but.....yeah I agree with the article. I didn't want to watch this MV at first because I thought it would be a "re-packaged" release of 'Good Day' with different lyrics.....which it is. Nevertheless, I still love IU. :)
