Knee Drop Guru Canceled

What was once a funny show became utter crap after Kang Ho Dong returned from retirement. I read the news via allkpop. While I wasn't an avid watcher of the show, one of the episodes remains one of my favorite episodes in all of Korean variety, with this scene being my favorite.



For those of you expecting me to write about EXOtics being banned from Inkigayo and Sunmi returning, I will...eventually. I just found out about both incidents this morning.

    2007.......that feel like an eternity ago.....Anyway, why is EXOtics being banned from Inkigayo? Because they squirt too much fluids on to the studio floor upon seeing and getting within fapping distance of their oppars?

    And Sunmi! Only if Sohee had departed in her stead (and come on Lim, we all know your place is among a janitor crew), WG might manage to maintain and perpetuate its relevance. How very unfortunate that she had chosen Korean micro dick over nigga phallus........

      because they're really fucking rude and think their oppars are the greatest (multiple recent fanaccounts support this) so they break all the simple rules that the station asks them to follow

      Tbh I was ready to find the nearest exotic and punch them in the face when some decided to sneak in as f(x) fans then instead of acting like supporters of f(x) as logic would dictate they started shouting "f(x) lipsync!" When they went on stage

      But in general I'm just secondhand embarassed for the entire fandom. Has an entire fandom ever gotten themselves banned from music shows before? I can't even..

    exotics (also inspirits although this may have been liften idr) have been banned from most recordings for quite a long time now lol akp is just dumb

    Kang Ho Dong isn't funny. I used to watch Star King and after like the second episode I watched, I stopped laughing at his jokes.
    Anyway, I hope Sunmi does well. I know the song'll probably do good since most of JYP's songs are decent but the fact is that everyone hates her for leaving WG and going to 'study' then having pictures of her uploaded going to parties and vacationing and stuff.

      I don't know about you but I went to more parties when I was studying than at any other time, and same for most other people I know.

      Yeah I know you are. I wasn't having a go at you personally. What I'm saying is that I think netizens who call out Sunmi and other idols who studied for party pictures are being hypocrites because I bet they either 1. partied down at Uni like most other people 2. didn't get into Uni because their grades were too shit because they partied too hard in high school 3. aren't even old enough to go to Uni and therefore wouldn't understand that it's not like high school or 4. didn't party at all and wish they fuckin' had.

    I always thought YJS > KHD and it's a no competition.

    Speaking of funny shows, I think Gag concert is only for korean audience yes? Mostly either I don't understand the joke or that it's just not funny. The only segment I liked was Shin Bora's, and I seriously love her voice.

      Actually I like the k-pop-meets-rocksteady-crew sound of it, not what I was expecting at all given that most twerk-friendlk music is relatively languid. I'm just disappointed that the video is seriously low on twerk value. What a buildup with no payoff.

      really? usually if i can understand the lyrics to a kpop song my conclusion is that it probably isn't great. their live rendition of it has a little more promise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcGpIP9wXxU) but idk other than nari and the ugly rapping one i'm not really feeling it

      I'm old enough to remember the days when rap actually all sounded like this. Totally squared off rhythms, cheesy synths, fast speed and lame chanting. But they'd be breakdancing instead of twerking, which was way cooler. They should have given this song to GLAM so whatshername the dancer girl could do some floor moves, now THAT would have been cool.
