Jay welcomes the D

Jay Park and Simon D have teamed up as co-CEOs of Jay's hip-hop label, AOMG.

Does this make them C.E.Bros?

After leaving Supreme Team and his label in the past year, our boy Simon D has finally found a place to settle. Coincidentally, the news of his joining AOMG came out on Simon D's 30th birthday. Don't feel bad if you missed all this, as it was overshadowed by another kpopper's special day.

Ew, er, I linked the wrong photo.
I meant an important kpopper.

Aww, that's the one.

But back to Jay, Simon D, and OMFG, or whatever their label is called. The duo's teaming up is pretty good news for fans of either rapper. Jay's pretty new label keeps growing and gets a (relatively) big name, and Simon D no longer needs to roam the streets of Seoul with his "Will rap for food" sign. It's really an all-win situation, except for people who loathe Jay Park or Simon D, which I think includes most of this site's readers ... so ... I guess I'm just gonna go for now ...

Awkward.

  1. Wait, why should I loathe Jay Park? He got away from shitty 2PM and JYP and the sugar coated idol world... bonus: flipped off Korea for being a shitty workaholic place.

    3. The problem with Jay is that now that's off doing his own thing, his real personality is shining through and frankly he's a tool.

  4. Jay should just stick to ghost writing. His vocals are fine for RnB but his mosquito voice is GRATING when he tries to flow and get aggressive. can't ever take him seriously because of it.

  5. Hmm interesting duo.
Not a huge fan of hiphop, but it sounds like a promising label.

  6. That Bangtan guy, I hate their fangirls legit. Speaking of J.Park I think his (rap) color is decent. Don't know why people bash him.

  10. I didn't know we hated Jay Park or Simon D. I mean sure, Jay Park can be toolish at times but he's livin' The Dream right now. And Simon D's always been cool in my book at least (I WANT HIM AND LADY JANE BACK TOGETHER OMG THEY WERE SO CUTE WHY GOD WHY)

    1. This is why it's so hard covering the Jay Park beat. People give you crap if you praise Jay, people give you crap if you try to stave off the crap when you talk about him, and Jay wears a lot of flat-brimmed hats. It's a tough job, people.
