Another Chinese UCAAD (Luhan) Defects From SM Entertainment

Yet another scandal for SM this year. Everyone is running out of popcorn at this point.

Anyway, I don't have the time right now for analysis or anything on this matter, so this is simply an open thread for people to comment below. Other authors, feel free to update this as news comes out. I have other crap to be doing instead of sitting on this waiting for new information to come out.

“He [Luhan] had expressed that he wanted to focus on individual activities in China rather than moving as a group with EXO due to health issues, and we were in the middle of discussing his future activities, so this sudden lawsuit is puzzling.”
“However, seeing that, just as in the case with Kris, Luhan filed for a lawsuit with the same law firm in the same way without reason makes us think that after gaining popularity with the group, he is now prioritizing his own personal benefit with disregard for those affected by the termination of his contract. Moreover, it seems that there is a behind-the-scenes influence.”
“Regarding this situation, we plan to take thorough action with international partners and legal experts. And we would like to state that EXO activities will all proceed as planned.”
Also according to Sina who broke the story the reasons for the contract termination are:
1. SM Entertainment is not able to give good future development plans for Luhan.
2. There is a discrimination in terms of treatment between Korean and Chinese members
3. The allocations of resources are not reasonable.
4. Experiencing health issues due to over-exhaustion in both body and in stress.

  2. We Are One! (for SM's money!)

OT11 and OT12 my ass. Still can't believe how many Losers think that Kris will come back.

    1. SM is just going to debut new groups rather than bother with the old tainted ones. We have Red Velvet, and the new guy group that Taeyong guy is going to be in is probably going to debut any day now.

  4. I knew this was gonna happen eventually. All the chinese members will leave the group sooner or later.

  5. I wonder what made him want out. SM will have one hell of a time trying to salvage this, though if they manage to, it'll be an absolute miracle.

    1. Irene and Seulgi are so damn hot. SM has done a good job breeding another line of bots after Seohyun

    2. I concur. Seulgi is a babe. I didn't even realize this Luhan thing happened, too excited for Be Natural by Red Velvet. I really hope more Exo scandals happen, they are so interesting.

  8. Those shifty Chinese are planning something big, and it all leads back to Tyler Kwon, him and Jessica (Chinese by insertion) are gonna take over the C-Pop scene with Sulli, Kris, Luhan and eventually Victoria.

    1. Sulli is the best guess right now. Like I said, the chinese members will most probably leave sooner or later. It only takes one to start the chain

    2. If Baekhyun leaves, Taeyeon will get lesser haters...perhaps?

    3. Or they will blame her for making him leave, lol. Taeyeon will never win either way.

EXO went from ot12 to ot10 in a matter of months. That's got to be a record or something.

  12. Shame it's the namesake of Project Luhan, but at least they now have an even number of members. Lose 9 more and "we are one" will have a whole new meaning.

  13. I bet everyone takes out their rage about SM's horrendous year on poor Red Velvet.

    1. SM's making Red Velvet a target by only using them to smooth over other scandals. I feel bad for RV, since it's obvious their schedule and promotions are rushed into play whenever SM needs to hush up something else.

  14. Luhan's not even fapable, he looks like a girl. I'm kinda glad hes gone though, the smaller the group gets the happier i'll be. there's too many fuckboys in that group, but it seems like all of the ugly ones are leaving so *shrug*.

  15. SM is shit and nowadays we have several different cases to prove it. Some acts prefer to stay, maybe, until they can re-negotiate their contracts but they'd been having issues, as far as I can remember, since Shinhwa managed to fly away all together and ended up winning against them for the rights of their name. Then, the facts about how badly they treat their Chinese talents compared to the Korean ones, are again surfacing.
