Weekly Showdown: SNSD's 'You Think' VS. Lion Heart'

As for me, I think both songs were pretty good, but I actually liked "Lion Heart" better (as opposed to the majority). Plus, the rap in "You Think" was so cringe-worthy, and it killed a lot of momentum. "Lion Heart" wasn't perfect either, but overall I liked it more. What do you guys think?

    They look better in both videos compared to 'party' but lion heart is definitely better song n visual.

      short hair on sunny was always terrible. Ever since IGAB promotions I fucking hated it.

    I say You Think because Lion Heart is a snoozefest of mediocrity that makes the perfect lullaby for teens. The lack of Yoona made it even better. They shouldn't be allowed to rap anymore tho.

    I'm hooked on You Think atm, SNSD can't match SAARA's sass from the demo but the song is still sick. Lion Heart is meh for me

    Also Yoona, Taeyeon and Tiffany are sex goddesses in those bondage outfits.

    Surprisingly enjoyed Lion Heart the most.

    The MV wasn't overly cutesy and was quite funny to watch.

    You Think is like watching an SNSD video from 2010 where only 4 members are even in the MV.
    I've had to resort to watching the live version to actually see Sooyoung and Hyoyeon.

    The visuals in both videos were good especially Taeyeon-- her stylist deserves a fuckin' raise, IMHO "You Think" is the stronger, more mature track, better than most of the crap SNSD has released post Jessica (RIP my ot9), especially party and cmiyc, but I don't think Lion Heart is necessarily bad either. They're certainly no RDR, or Genie, but they're both better than IGAB and The Boys by a landslide. Then again I'm a sonefag so what do I know

    At first, I was impressed by the "fierceness" of "You Think" MV, but after a few listens, it just became more generic western pop music to me. For the live performances, although it's a more "boring" song, I actually enjoyed watching them do "Lion Heart" more because it feels more suited to their style and image.
