"Tail of Hope" is one of those songs I go to when I need to improve my mood. For example, when I fear for the future of humanity after reading fangirls' comments and know that they'll eventually breed and have their own kids, I feel bleak about the future. Then comes a song like "Tail of Hope" to remind me that I'll be really old or dead by the time the offspring of stupid fangirls will be old enough to vote and shit, so I end up feeling better.
The best part of "Tail of Hope" is that it sounds like a J-pop song from over a decade ago that is more upbeat with a modernized instrumental. best of all, without the "screeching" that is recognized as singing in most of J-pop.
Where the song falls short on an interesting instrumental, the positive, upbeat feeling from the song makes me like it a lot. If other Koreans took my lead of not listening to insipid, depressing ballad songs and then spewing their retarded shit all over the Internet, maybe shit would be better for them. I would suggest a daily dose of "Tail of Hope" for people like that.
I think this song was in my top three most listened to tracks in 2013. Whenever I want to listen to some Kpop/Jpop, but I don't know what to put on, and I don't feel like listening to an entire album, I usually end up listening to this or "Eien".
ReplyDeleteIn case it's not on the list, here's Eien: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA8ZBCUweCY
